NiSCELL is short for Nichi Asia Life Science, a cell therapy company in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. It manufactures immune cell and stem cell products in its own cleanrooms, it runs research with three Malaysian universities, and it has been doing both for fifteen years.
What NiSCELL is, and what it is not
Every cell therapy company says it is a global leader at the forefront of the field. NiSCELL is not going to say that. The category has enough of it, and none of it can be checked. Here is what can be checked instead: the facility is cGMP accredited by the NPRA, the company holds BioNexus status, the platform was transferred from the Biotherapy Institute of Japan in 2009, and the umbilical cord tissue is collected to the standards of the American Association of Tissue Banks, 15th edition. Every product on this site is published with a line saying what it is not.
The platform came from Japan in 2009
NiSCELL is short for Nichi Asia Life Science. Nichi is the Japanese element in the name, and it is not decoration. In 2009 the company's cell therapy technology was transferred from the Biotherapy Institute of Japan. That transfer is where the immunotherapy platform comes from, and the company has been running it ever since.

Company record
Each entry carries the same label as the claims register on the evidence page. Public record means the fact can be checked with a body other than NiSCELL. Company record means NiSCELL is the source. The label is published so a reader can weigh each line rather than take this page’s word for it. Advisors provide scientific input and are listed by their own qualifications. Their institutions are named to identify them, not as institutional endorsement of NiSCELL.
